Common US Cancellation Scenarios
- Flexible rates: Many US properties offer free cancellation up to 24–72 hours before check-in. Verify the specific deadline on your confirmation email.
- Non-refundable rates: Discounted prepaid rates typically cannot be cancelled or modified. No refund is issued if you cancel or fail to arrive.
- Resort fees: Mandatory daily resort fees ($30–$55 at most US integrated resorts) are generally non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.
- Parking fees: Properties like Encore Boston Harbor charge $40+ daily for parking, typically non-refundable once incurred.
How to Cancel or Modify a Booking
